In this workshop, Dr. Christina Reese, LCPC, will help parents and caregivers understand the complex layers of grief, identity, and healing that many adoptees face. Participants will learn to recognize signs of trauma, manage challenging behaviors, and implement strategies that foster emotional security and resilience. This session offers a supportive space to explore how to build strong attachments and create an environment where healing can thrive.

Participants will gain a deeper understanding of both macro- and micro-aggressions that adoptees encounter in everyday life. The session will provide practical insights on how parents, educators, and caregivers can advocate for adoptees and support them in navigating interactions with medical professionals, teachers, law enforcement, and beyond.
